Targeted PRP Injections
Step 04 of your care pathway. The central, minimally invasive intervention, where regenerative medicine goes directly into the site of the injury.
What does Ivy en Rose do for Targeted PRP Injections?
Targeted PRP (platelet-rich plasma) injections are Step 04 of the pathway: the main minimally invasive intervention, where we apply regenerative medicine straight to the damaged musculoskeletal tissue.
Dr. Andrew Vargas, MD performs the procedure himself. It uses the healing blueprint already present in your blood to set off a wound healing cascade, prompting cellular repair and tissue regeneration without leaning on temporary steroid blocks or surgery.
The Clinical Process for Targeted PRP Injections
The workflow is precise and follows the same sequence every time:
1. Blood Draw and Processing
It starts with an ordinary blood draw at the clinic. The sample goes into a carefully calibrated centrifuge, which separates red and white blood cells from plasma and platelets. What comes out is concentrated platelet-rich plasma, carrying somewhere between 5 and 10 times the growth factors of normal blood.
2. High-Precision Injection Mapping
Targeted means exactly that: Dr. Vargas is not working from proximity or guesswork. Using the structural boundaries established in your Step 02 diagnostic review, specialised imaging and MRIs among them, the concentrated PRP is placed directly into the damaged micro-environment. Joints commonly treated include:
The Knee
Into worn articular cartilage (osteoarthritis) or torn meniscal tissue.
The Lower Back
Damaged facet joints, irritated ligaments, or compressed nerve roots.
Other Major Joints
Also used for the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, and ankles.
3. Activating the Cellular Regeneration Cascade
Once in place, the concentrated platelets persuade your body to treat chronic joint wear as though it were a fresh wound. They release growth factors and act as a physical scaffold, drawing your own repair cells to the site. Across four to six weeks, that controlled inflammatory response works to:
- Rejuvenate damaged tissue at a cellular level.
- Reduce long-standing joint inflammation.
- Thicken and strengthen weakened connective tissue, so the joint sits more stably.
Available PRP Tiers at the Clinic
If you are going ahead with Step 04, these are the regenerative options available:
Single PRP Injection Package ($2,499)
A single targeted PRP treatment, with a full physician evaluation and follow-up care.
PRP Bundle Savings ($6,500)
A three-treatment series for severe or complex degenerative cases, saving $1,000 against the individual price.
Considering PRP for a particular joint? Tell us which one (knee, lower back, shoulder) and whether you have had a cortisone or steroid injection there before. We can explain how PRP differs from the conventional pain management route.
